In individual therapy you will meet one-on-one with an experienced therapist in a confidential welcoming environment. Therapy gives the client an opportunity to talk through their problems in a non-threatening setting.
The sessions are eclectic in nature and will involve a range of therapeutic goals that are set in the first session. Expected outcomes are gaining better understanding of self. This is a safe place to process deep hurts and traumas. Sessions may start off weekly or bi-monthly and generally last one hour.
You will work with your partner (significant other) in a confidential comfortable safe setting with an experienced therapist.
As you explore shared dynamics and issues you will learn of mutual strengths and weaknesses in communication. You may look at love languages and exploring individual family history. Working on shared goals, couples counseling can be a time of conflict resolution but also laughter and freedom.
Since our thoughts, beliefs and safety strategies may impact our wider relationships, group therapy offers a confidential secure objective environment to safely express feelings.
We may meet as three or more members of family, parents and children, business partnership, ministry in a common setting. Sessions begin with setting goals of better communication systems, exploring past behaviour patterns and exploring any traumas that may affect relationships.
The overall goal is healthier relationships in the business or home environments.
Some couples therapy may include meetings with partners individually.
Sessions can be conducted in person, over the phone or via video-call, depending on individual needs and the current COVID-19 protocols in place.
